Our Scope of Work
Conducting research and documentation through the preservation, cataloging, and digitization primary source materials.
The Foundation also performs vehicle provenance research using chassis data, production records, and available archival sources. This work is used to establish historical context, ownership continuity, and factory specifications where documentation is available.
In addition, the Foundation produces scholarly analysis of automotive engineering and design evolution, developing structured reference materials that support historical accuracy, restoration standards, and broader automotive research.
Methodology and Standards
The Foundation relies on primary-source materials whenever available, including factory documentation, period publications, technical manuals, and archival photography. All research is conducted with an emphasis on accuracy, cross-referencing, and historical context.
Where records are incomplete or unavailable, the Foundation works to present the most accurate information supported by existing documentation. Corrections and updates are made as new verified information becomes available.
